All Saints Family Cellar Marsanne 2009, Score 90/100
Poached quince and pear in the bouquet leads to a medium weight wine showing bright, juicy fruit, some fine minerality and a soft, pluming finish. Varietal? Maybe not, but a lovely drink.

2008 All Saints Estate Sangiovese Cabernet, Score 91
"There's plenty of ripeness here: a nice mix of dark berries, chocolate, mocha oak and more on the nose. The palate's approachable and fleshy, with easy, smooth tannins and a bit of liquorice to close."

Spurrier's World - Steven Spurrier, UK Decanter Magazine, November 2011
"All Saints Estate, Durif, Rutherglen, Victoria Australia 2009 - This Durif (aka Petit Syrah and once thought of as Zinfandel) is fermented like Burgundy in open-top oak vats. Seductive palate with bitter cherry lift, spice and depth. Cheerfully serious. Drink 2011-2016. Alc: 14.5%" Read More
"Vue de monde's sommelier talks Italian wine" - Christine Salins, Hospitality Magazine, 10 October 2011
"… For a white table wine, he turns to Rutherglen and the 2009 All Saints Family Cellar Marsanne, a variety that appears to be well-suited to Rutherglen. "2009 was a very hot year so in 2009 they picked a lot earlier," Esposito said. "It was picked with very moderate alcohol (12.6 per cent). It's a very elegant wine. It has some toastiness, it has freshness, lovely acidity and a bright fruit spectrum." Esposito says the Marsanne has some sharpness on the palate so he would suggest pairing it with a slightly oily dish such as paté or foie gras, cured trout, a delicate fish dish or tuna carpaccio…." "Tribute wines can be red, white, sweet or dry, one-offs or a series, but they all have a compelling backstory. Peter R. Brown turned 60 in January 2005 so his three children, as children all over the world do, decided to prepare something special to mark the event. Unlike most children around the world, however, they had access to a winemaker, a vineyard and a winery, All Saints Estate at Wahgunyah, which Peter had bought in 1996. The children - Eliza, Angela and Nicholas - considered their choices...." Read More

"Love a bargain? All Saints Estate Rutherglen Muscat NV
(Rutherglen) $20; 17%
4/5
Light burgundy brown in colour, this has a floral bouquet of citrus, raisins, rose petals, orange rind and a hint of coffee. Its flavours include raisins, toffee and a lip-smacking citrus rind that increases the wine’s appeal. Best served really chilled, this has a thick, viscous texture and bright acidity that helps keep the wine fresh, which is important with these styles of wines. A long, intense chocolate and toffee flavour rounds off the wine nicely. Food match \ Chocolate pudding" Read More

All Saints Estate Rutherglen Tokay NV, $20
"If you've made a fancy dessert, a decent sticky is the finishing touch. For those with a sweet tooth it's the high point of the meal. If you go for the plate of cheese instead of dessert, a botrytised sweet wine can be as good a match as red - especially if you're serving blue cheese. Alternatively a tokay from Rutherglen will go really well with richer desserts and strong cheese. ...All Saints Estate Rutherglen Tokay NV, $20."

All Saints Durif, 2009, $25
"Foams, smears and fancy cuts of meat ... What about a simple, perfect
roast beef instead? Wines to match are rich or subtle reds. ... Durif is the pride of Rutherglen - aside from its fortifieds, of course. While it can often be a bolshie variety, big and overpowering in its youth and even in old age, this '09 has a lightness of touch, dare I say it's almost pretty. It has plenty of fresh bright red fruits, dried herbs and spice, plus the enticing sweet leathery note associated with durif, incredibly supple yet persistent tannins with acidity to match. A nice partner to a roast beef and hot mustard sandwich. Check with King & Godfree, Carlton". Read more

All Saints Estate Pierre, 2009, $30
Pierre was the late Peter Brown’s family nickname and this wine was created and named in his honour. This is a classic Bordeaux blend utilising merlot, cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc. It’s elegant and fine, with the fruit-cake character of merlot predominating on the nose and palate. Would love to see this in another five years. With food: medium-rare lamb cutlets.
All Saints Marsanne, 2009, $20
This is winemaker Dan Crane’s favourite tipple at the moment and it’s not difficult to understand why. He uses the Family Cellar Marsanne’s lees to give this wine a bit more TLC so there’s a little bit of extra depth to the wine, with just a hint of oak character. This has attractive lemon and honey characters on the nose and palate with a touch of spiciness. With food: chicken, veal or seafood.

All Saints Estate Shiraz 2009 ($25)
Lots of warm high notes on the nose with ripe stewed prunes and dark plum aromas merged with a liberal sprinkle of spices. The palate offers a deliciously sweet supple fruit bomb with fine-grained oak and ripe tannins in support. An opulent style made for rich hearty food. 90/10
All Saints Estate 2009 Family Cellar Marsanne - Wine Front Monthly - Campbell Mattinson - May 1st, 2011
Style-wise the All Saints Family Cellar Marsanne has made quite a shift in recent years.
I’ve always liked the wine though in the past it’s tended to be been made in a full, lavishly-oaked, sweet-fruited style. The hot 2009 vintage has produced a polar opposite style. This is lean, salty, smoky and kissed by perfumed, butterscotchy oak – but only lightly. It has fruit flavours of grapefruit and peach but it’s a very lean, racy, grainy style. It’s yet very young; it needs time. I wouldn’t be surprised if I rated it a few points higher in time – it has that kind of potential.

All Saints Durif $25 - Rutherglen, Victoria - Chris Shanahan - March 16th, 2011
Durif, also known as petite syrah, is an accidental cross of shiraz and peloursin, first identified by Francois Durif at Montpellier, France, in 1880 and brought to Australia by Francois de Castella in 1908. It thrived in Rutherglen’s hot climate and became the region’s signature red variety, tending to a porty ripeness and burly tannic structure. Where some might politely be called “rustic”, All Saints’ highly polished version packs the variety’s aromatic, very ripe, plummy flavours into a supple, smooth palate, albeit underpinned with a truckload of tannin. All Saints Rutherglen Muscat reviewed in Scottish Field Magazine UK
"All Saints Muscat NV, Rutherglen, Australia - This is one of the best modern sweet wines to have come out of Australia - quite a boast, but its hand-crafted quality shines through. It has everything you'd expect from sweet muscat; floral, peachy, aromatic fruit with a lovely intense perfume, and is backed up with beautifully balanced sweetness. It's a perfect match for this classic dish and matched very well with the sweet custard and dried fruits." David Robertson (Irvine Robertson Wines').

"Judges Tasting Notes: Oaky Mahogany brown in colour. Thick and viscous in the glass. Huge aromas of Seville orange marmalade, spiced fruit buns, caramel, dried citrus fruits and sultanas. There are so many flavours here that it takes a while to sort through them in the mouth which is great, as it is very hard to spit this wine out. Incredible build, concentration and length, massive complexity, a beautiful experience and so unique."
Minestyle Magazine, WA
All Saints Durif as reviewed in Minestyle Magazine, WA
"2007 All Saints Durif - Durif is not a common variety in Australia, which is a shame. It's the exotic cousin to the good old shiraz - you don't see it very often and it seems wonderfully different when you do. The All Saints durif is a great example of this variety, at first it is more aloof and less bold than a traditional Australian red but it really comes alive after the first sip. It is smooth and sweet and has a good dollop of liquorice (you could almost say there is Allsorts going on). This is definitely best enjoyed with food such as a big roast which sees it really open up and become richer." Karl Franzen - Minestyle, Spring 2010

All Saints Estate N.V. 1920 Museum Rutherglen Muscat, Rutherglen, (US$1400; 500ml), Fortified, Score: 99
"The solera for the remarkable 1920 Museum Rutherglen Muscat was begun in the 1930s. It has been aging in large oak ovals until recent racking to decanters for this release. Chocolate brown in color, it offers up an ethereal bouquet of figs, dates, raisins, English toffee, and more. Amazingly complex and powerful on the palate, at the same time it is vibrant and balanced. Words simply cannot do it justice. However, should you wish to taste it, be prepared to pay a pretty penny."
