First Post

As a fairly traditional, English public-school educated sort of chap, you'd not be surprised to hear that I find some of the 21st century's communication methods a bit hard to handle. SMS code is ugly, although sometimes amusingly inventive, Twitter is generally inane, apart from the burgeoning Twitter micro poetry and Haiku movement and emails are a constant stream of poor manners and worse grammar. However, despite my misgivings, I have been persuaded to step into the heady world of the internet and start a blog. I have been promised that I don't have to write with my thumb or restrict myself to 250 characters, so I thought I could give it a go. I'll be writing about what is happening in the winery, keeping everyone up to date with the wines and letting off a bit of steam. We will also be taking a bit of footage and posting it up on You Tube (if you can find it amongst the dancing cats, Hitler rants and knicker-flashing starlets).
